ABOUT THE ARTIST
With more than 10 years of experience as a Medical Illustrator, Krystal J. Thompson has worked with clientele such as doctors, publishers, and both defense and personal injury attorneys for a variety of media. Graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with academic honors, she has immersed herself in the medical profession through inter-company and contractual engagements. Krystal's work has been published in online journals such as the Journal of Neurosurgery, the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and scientific articles from Medscape. Her work has been presented by doctors in lectures and e-learning modules, and her detail-oriented medical art was significant in obtaining a plaintiff verdict for $1.2 million.
In her free time, Krystal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, writing, listening to music, and cooking. She especially enjoys baking elaborate and artistic cakes or pastries.
